‘Tiny Curators’ Visit the Bell

From Minnesota Alumni Magazine Spring 2016

sp2016_tinycurators When budding scientists Miller and Maria Williams, ages 9 and 10, decided to stage their own Tiny Natural History Museum with more than 100 objects on display near their home in Minnetrista, they decided to donate half of their gate—$125.71—to the Bell Museum of Natural History. To show their thanks, the Bell staff treated them to a special tour of the museum and its scientific collections on February 15. They also presented Miller and Maria with magnifying loupes, U of M backpacks, and certificates proclaiming them each an honorary Bell Museum Tiny Curator.

Looking on are their parents, Anna (B.S. ‘97) and Nick Williams (B.E.E. ’98, M.B.A.’08).
