DiscoverDISCOVER. A top-to-bottom renovation of the historic Tate building, on Northrop Mall, features a new auditorium and state-of-the-art labs for astronomy, earth sciences, and physics. (Patrick O'Leary)

ExcelEXCEL. The new Athletes Village takes shape near the northern edge of the Twin Cities campus. The Center for Excellence, just east of the Bierman building, will serve as a hub for the entire athletics department.
