Re-engineering the tumor landscape

Cancers behave like a complex “organ.” In this environment, cancerous cells encounter a multitude of coordinated stimuli that conspire to promote disease and resist both chemical and radiotherapies. This presentation will discuss recent work describing strategies to re-engineer the environment around cancerous cells to slow disease progression and breach barriers to effective therapies.
