Great River Greening “Podcast”
Saturday, September 29, Time: 10 AM – 2 PM

Improve the natural habitat for pollinators! Join us for this family-friendly event as we partner with Great River Greening at the Carlos Avery State Wildlife Management Area in Wyoming, MN just 35 minutes from the Twin Cities. Volunteers will release milkweed seeds through a “podcast” and plant pollinator-friendly plugs including common, butterfly, and whorled milkweed at the Sunrise Unit. Orange safety vests will be provided to volunteers.
Light breakfast, snack, and lunch provided.

Can't make it to the project site?
The College of Design is also hosting a blanket drive for Bridging from September 24 - October 7. You can participate by donating new and gently-used blankets of all sizes (twin, full, queen, or king) to help Bridging furnish homes with hope!
