We focus on strong results, innovation and thought leadership to find new, more efficient and more effective ways to utilize the food resources in our community.

Volunteers will be repackaging bulk foods, sorting food, or labeling canned goods. This volunteer opportunity does require that you are able to stand for several hours.

Available on the North side of the building

Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of shift. Upon arrival please follow signs to enter through the main door on the North side of the building.

What to Wear
Dress in comfortable clothing. MUST wear closed toe shoes. Please remove all jewelry before arriving.

Minimum age to volunteer is 8 years old. All volunteers who are under the age of 18 need to present a signed parental waiver.

Additional Information
Do not plan to volunteer with us if you feel ill.
Second Harvest Heartland advises volunteers with food allergies to exercise caution. We will not know what your group will be packing prior to your volunteer shift.
