Food Bank of the Rockies
TIME LISTED IN MDT
We help families thrive by efficiently procuring and distributing food and essentials to the hungry through our programs and partner agencies.
Volunteers will be pre-sorting various packaged food and beverage products and placing a specified variety of products into boxes for delivery to organizations which partner with the Food Bank of the Rockies. Volunteers will be in an assembly line type formation where some volunteers will be moving products from one area to another. Other volunteers will fill and weigh the boxes of re-sorted products, tape the boxes shut and move the properly filled and taped boxes onto designated pallets.
Parking and entrance are located at the south end of the warehouse facing Interstate 70.
Upon arrival, follow signs to the volunteer meeting room.
What to Wear
Volunteers should dress appropriately for warehouse setting and weather. All volunteers are required to wear closed toe shoes (sneakers, work boots) and all shirts need to have a sleeve (short or long).
All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
For those interested, there will be a happy hour at a local establishment after we complete our volunteer work.
