The mission of Alexandra House is to empower victims of domestic and sexual violence, and inspire social change, through education, support, and advocacy.
Volunteers will be volunteering at Alexandra House’s annual HopeFest. Volunteers can select from a variety of activities which can include event set up, supervising the Kidz Zone, being photographers at the photo booth, routing guides/cheerleaders, handing out snacks & water, directing course participants, and assisting with course tear down.
Parking lot available onsite.
Upon arrival, volunteers should meet at Pavilion 3 to check in with Lead Volunteer. U of M group will check in together for HopeFest and each volunteer will be provided with a HopeFest t-shirt and water. The entry fee for the park will be covered for the day. Food will be available for purchase with proceeds going back to Alexandra House.
What to Wear
Comfortable walking/standing shoes and weather appropriate clothing. HopeFest will provide t-shirts.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
